A note from Mrs Harris:

“All the children are having lots of fun.  The team work during the week has been great!  We’ve done buggy building, low ropes and aeroball this morning. We’re all just enjoying some welcome warm sunshine before lunch – the smell of garlic bread is making us all hungry!  After lunch two of our groups are raft building together.  The children will be packing this evening ready to come home tomorrow, followed by a disco.’

Update 22/05 at 8.00pm

Year 6 have been enjoying the sun today.  Two of our groups had great fun kayaking and getting wet.   The children have worked brilliantly together climbing up Jacobs Ladder as well as doing problem solving activities.  After dinner tonight we have a ‘splash’ activity which sounds fun.

They’ve had their first visit to the shop so they have plenty of supplies to keep them well fed, in addition to the lovely food – fish fingers/ cottage pie last night, spaghetti
bolognese and casserole tonight, followed by Jessica’s birthday cake.

All children are still smiling and having fun!
