Your Role as Parents/Carers
Value your child’s education and encourage them to do their very best
Make sure your child arrives at school on time each day and ready to learn
Send your child in uniform and with all the appropriate equipment
Inform school if your child is absent and the reason for this
Avoid, where possible, taking your child out of school during term time
Keep the school informed of changes of address and telephone numbers
Encourage your child with their homework
Attend parent consultation evenings and discussions about your child’s progress
Keep the school informed of any home circumstances that may affect your child at school
Support the school’s policies for learning and behaviour
