Cedars Primary School’s Nursery takes up to 39 children. The morning session runs between 9:00am and 12:00pm. The afternoon session runs between 12:00pm and 3:00pm. A full day runs between 9:00am and 3:00pm. The Nursery is led by our Nursery Teacher and Nursery Nurse.
To apply for a nursery place for September, January or April, Parents/Cares fill in an application form and submit this to the school office. We will accept applications outside of these months if places are available.
Successful applicants will receive an offer of a place and details of the induction programme. We hold an induction evening where parents are invited to meet with the Headteacher and staff. This provides an opportunity for parents to find out about the philosophy and ethos of the school and to have a tour of the Nursery.
Families are offered a home visit, or a visit to school, to fill in required paperwork and to meet the teacher and nursery nurse. Each child is given a start date and an initial stay and play session with their parent (in September).
