National Safer Internet Day

On Tuesday 6^th February 2024, Cedars observed Safer Internet Day. The day began with an assembly led by Mr. Tearle, who introduced this year’s theme and discussed how technology has changed over time. Throughout the day, the children took time to remind themselves of the importance of staying safe online and how they can do this. They discussed in their classes, how technology has changed over time and what this might look like in the future. The children also had an opportunity to share how they think the internet can be used for good and what influences them online both positively and negatively. We took time to revise the SMART rules for staying safe when using the internet.
