Sustainability

At Cedars we are committed to fostering a sustainable environment for future generations by reducing our carbon footprint and integrating climate education into our curriculum.

Our Goals

  • To train and support teachers and school leaders to become confident when teaching children and young people about sustainability and climate change

  • To develop and use a shared language/ vocabulary about climate change and sustainability

  • To increase awareness of the environmental impacts of climate change both locally and globally.

  • To engage both adults and children to care about the environment and to act to reduce our impact on climate change.

  • To support children to care for their community and environment.
